With the aim of raising awareness of water usage and plastic reduction, NCKU pays attention to the provision of free drinking water. Therefore, NCKU ensures water dispensers are set in every building, sports field, and library, which are available to all students, faculties, and visitors. The public who are in need are welcome to bring their containers to fill drinking water in.
To consider water intake and safety, NCKU established the regulations for the maintenance of water dispensers. In regards to whether the water temperature is appropriate, the cleaning and the replacement of the filter parts are regular, and the efficiency of the load switch, the examinations are conducted every March, June, Auguest, September, and October.
