NCKU’s campus food waste tracking-國立成功大學永續發展SDGs

NCKU has been tracking food waste for years. On the website, we normally update the figures for the recent four years. In accordance with the statistics, NCKU’s amount of waste is decreasing year by year.

The total amount of food waste in NCKU over the years:
2018 Food Waste (1.1.2018~12.31.2018): 19.12 tons
2019 Food Waste (1.1.2019~12.31.2019): 23.18 tons
2020 Food Waste (1.1.2020~12.31.2020): 36.52 tons
2021 Food Waste (1.1.2021~12.31.2021): 43.2 tons
2022 Food Waste (1.1.2022~12.31.2022): 34.11 tons
2023 Food Waste (1.1.2023~12.31.2023): 28.17 tons
 

NCKU’s general waste is usually processed at Chengxi Incinerator, and the total amount each year are as follows:
2018 (1.1.2018~12.31.2018): 491.8 tons
2019 (1.1.2019~12.31.2019): 473.18 tons
2020 (1.1.2020~12.31.2020): 394.7 tons
2021 (1.1.2021~12.31.2021): 358.7 tons
2022 (1.1.2022~12.31.2022): 360.2 tons
2023 (1.1.2023~12.31.2023): 361.62 tons
