A.Women's Health Protection
(1) Provide health protection measures for female employees during pregnancy or within one year after delivery and during breastfeeding.
ⅰ.Perform workplace safety and health risk factor assessment and control.
ⅱ.Conduct work suitability assessment and make work adjustments when necessary.
ⅲ.Pregnancy and maternity health management, such as health counseling and care.
(2) Female employees who have difficulty working due to physiological days may take one day of physiological leave per month and be paid in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations governing the status of employees.
(3) If a female employee is diagnosed by a physician to be in need of rest and recuperation during pregnancy, she may apply for sick leave and be paid in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations governing the status of the employee.
(4) Paid maternity leave is granted to female employees during pregnancy, 8 days for teachers and public employees, and 7 days for employees of the Labor Foundation.
(5) Paid maternity leave is granted to female employees before and after childbirth, 42 working days for teachers and public employees, and 8 weeks for employees of the Labor Foundation.
(6) After giving birth, female employees may apply for public insurance maternity benefits, public education employee maternity benefits, or labor insurance maternity benefits in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations governing the status of employees.
B. Family Support Measures
(1) When the employee's spouse gives birth, the employee is granted 5 days of paid paternity leave.
(2) When a family member needs personal care due to preventive vaccination, serious illness or other major accidents, the employee may apply for family care leave for seven days per year, with pay calculated in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations governing the status of the employee.
(3) Employees raising children under the age of three may apply for Unpaid Parental Leave for 2 years or until the child reaches the age of three in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations governing the status of personnel, and may apply for Parental Leave Allowance of Insurance for Civil Servants and Teachers or Parental Leave Allowance of Employment Insurance.
(4) If the child is under two and needs to be nursed by a colleague, he/she will be given 60 minutes of nursing time per day, which is considered as working time.
(5) In order to raise children under the age of three, employees may apply for a one-hour reduction in working hours (without pay) or an adjustment in working hours per day.
(6) The supervisor shall not reject any application for physiological leave, family care leave, maternity leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, daily breastfeeding time, adjustment of working hours, or unpaid parental leave, and shall not consider as the absence from work and affect the full attendance bonus, performance appraisal, or give other unfavorable penalties.
C. Friendly Childcare Environment
(1) There are 11 breastfeeding rooms on each campus (location map is attached), which are available for colleagues in need.
(2) Offer a non-profit kindergarten for employees' children to provide childcare for employees' children and reduce their childcare burden.
(3) A total of 12 priority parking spaces for women and children are available on each campus, with priority given to pregnant women and those with children under the age of six.
