- The 8th NCKU x Bank SinoPac Scholarship awarded 35 domestic and international students to recognize academic excellence, financial perseverance, and commitment to sustainability. Beyond distributing over NT$30 million to date, Bank SinoPac supported the Hult Prize competitions at NCKU to foster social innovation and ESG initiatives.

The 8th NCKU x Bank SinoPac Scholarship awarded 35 students, supporting both local and international youth regardless of their academic background. Bank SinoPac has provided over NTD 30 million to more than 550 NCKU students to date. Beyond financial support, the program encourages students to focus on sustainable development and ESG issues. Bank SinoPac also sponsored the Hult Prize campus and Taiwan competitions hosted by NCKU, helping students develop innovative solutions for social impact. Both institution leaders expressed commitment to continuing this collaboration to empower future talent.
- Use Life to Inspire Life: NCKU Library’s Used Book Charity Sale Marks 22 Consecutive Years
The National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Library is holding its 22nd annual Used Book Charity Sale through September 19, 2025, at the Main Library's Art Gallery. Featuring nearly 20,000 donated items—including books, magazines, and CDs priced between NT30andNT400—the event set new records for both donors and contributions. Organized to promote resource appreciation and reading, all proceeds will be donated to the St. Theresa Opportunity Center to support individuals with disabilities and high-needs families. Over the past 21 years, this annual tradition has raised nearly NT$3.6 million for social welfare.
