The Counseling and Wellness Services Division provides general mental health courses, counseling and mental health activities for students and staff, and exchanges experiences with instructors in dealing with students' conditions through activities such as mentorship workshops. There are resource classrooms to provide individual services and assistance to students with mental and physical disabilities.
There are several psychologists and social workers with national professional licenses in the counseling team to provide individual counseling or consultation, group counseling, mental health seminars, growth groups and workshops, etc. The Personnel Office of NCKU also provides a number of "staff counseling sessions" for faculty and staff members.
NCKU also implemented psychological adjustment leave for students starting from 2023 and set up related "counseling packages":
