In 2023, NCKU established the “Management Directions for Tobacco Hazards Prevention and Control,” coordinating departments to strengthen education and awareness to maintain a healthy, clean campus environment. NCKU Hospital has also been entirely smoke-free since 2012, offering outpatient and inpatient smoking cessation services supported by health educators and counseling.
