- Accompanying 2026 Project - Liujia Wetland Ecological Care Micro Community
This project seeks to address key demographic issues raised by the National Development Council regarding Taiwan's future population, including the construction of an intergenerationally inclusive aging society, the promotion of positive aging lifestyles, and the connection of social resources to shape a supportive social network across generations.
The project integrates the Person-Environment Fit (P-E Fit) theory, which has gained emphasis in the field of gerontology in recent years. This theory suggests that a good fit between individuals and their environment can help older adults adapt to later life, leading to a state of high efficiency, satisfaction, and low stress. As a result, older adults are more likely to engage in community activities, adopt healthier behaviors, and participate in social activities, thereby strengthening their sense of place attachment.
