National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Center for General Education established various courses including:
- NCKU Law Service Club
Established in 1998, the Law Service Club of NCKU’s Department of Law was the first legal consultation platform among universities in the Tainan area. Led by law students, the club aims to promote legal literacy and provide professional legal assistance. Services are not only available on campus at designated stations but also extended to local communities through mobile consultations. This innovative model, integrating legal practice with public service, demonstrates students’ social concern and their commitment to applying professional knowledge to help prevent and resolve legal disputes.- NCKU Extension Education Center & Foreign Language Center
The Center for Continuing Education and the Foreign Language Center regularly design and offer a wide range of courses, including foreign language training, credit-bearing classes, and professional seminars. These programs are open to the public as well as to NCKU students, embodying the university’s dedication to lifelong learning and interdisciplinary development.- NCKU Service-Oriented Student Associations
NCKU hosts a variety of service-oriented student associations dedicated to social engagement and public service. For instance, the NCKU Medical Service Association regularly organizes large-scale health education activities such as “Wenhua Service Camp” and “Xinglin Home Visits”, and participates in volunteer services like “Angel Heart”, raising health awareness and fostering community care. The NCKU Social Service Team has long been engaged in nursing homes and care centers, accompanying elderly residents and patients in activities such as crafts and games, delivering warmth and compassion. In addition, several other active service-oriented associations thrive on campus, including the NCKU First Aid Team, Childer Service Club, Philanthropy Club, Tzu Chi Collegiate Association, and Chung-De Youth Club.
