NCKU upholds the principle of gender equality in its admissions process and treats all applicants equally regardless of gender. In addition to explicitly stating this principle on its admissions website and in its admission regulations, NCKU has formally established regulations on gender equality education and the rights of pregnant students, thereby implementing fair and transparent admissions and enrollment policies.

NCKU has established Gender Equity Education Implementation Guidelines. Article 5 explicitly prohibits differential treatment in admission and enrollment based on sex, gender characteristics, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Article 7 requires academic and administrative units to actively provide assistance to students who are disadvantaged due to their sex, gender characteristics, gender identity, or sexual orientation, with the aim of improving their circumstances.
