  1. National Cheng Kung University Gender Equity Education Implementation Guidelines
NCKU has established Gender Equality Education Implementation Guidelines to provide an equitable learning environment, respect diverse gender identities and sexual orientations, and promote a safe and inclusive campus.





 
  1. National Cheng Kung University Guidelines on the Prevention of Gender-Related Incidents on Campus
NCKU establishes the guidelines to prevent gender-related incidents on campus and respond appropriately when they occur, fostering an educational environment based on substantive gender equality. These guidelines comply with the Gender Equity Education Act and the Regulations Governing Prevention of Gender-Related Incidents on Campuses.




 
 
  1. NCKU Antidiscrimination and Gender Equality Policy
NCKU has established Antidiscrimination and Gender Equality Policy to promote equality and a respectful, inclusive workplace. Reporting and complaint channels are also available to support a safe and inclusive campus environment.







 
  1. NCKU New Student Information System – Self-Identified Gender Field  
NCKU respects students’ gender identities by providing a self-identified gender field in the student information system. Students may voluntarily enter their gender identity, helping create an inclusive learning environment, reduce barriers for transgender students, and protect their rights to gender identity.









 
  1. 2025 Gender Forum: Inviting Faculty and Students to Explore Gender Issues Together  
The Gender Forum, organized by NCKU Gender Equity Education Committee, featured four gender forums and lectures, along with a gender-themed film screening and post-screening discussion, providing faculty and students with opportunities to explore gender issues together.
 














 
  1. NCKU Participates in the Tainan Rainbow Parade for the First Time, Joining the Public in Advocating for Gender Equality  
NCKU participated in the Tainan Rainbow Parade for the first time. Under the theme “United in Diversity, Walking the Same Path,” the event addressed issues including digital sexual violence, campus inclusion, LGBTQ+ people with disabilities, gender diversity, and challenges faced by women. NCKU’s Counseling and Wellness Services Division and Gender Equity Education Committee promoted diversity and equality through participation in this major local event, raising awareness of gender issues and extending gender equality education beyond campus into the wider community.











 
  1. NCKU Commemorates Transgender Day of Remembrance and Promotes Understanding and Inclusion
Since 2014, NCKU’s gender-inclusive student group TO. Lesbians and Queers Club and the Gender Equity Education Committee have jointly held a candle-lighting ceremony around Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) on November 20 each year. The ceremony honors transgender people who have lost their lives to violence and invites the NCKU community and the public to raise awareness of the challenges faced by transgender people.





 
  1. 11th Tainan Pink Dot Promotes Gender Diversity and Inclusion on Campus
NCKU organized the 11th Tainan Pink Dot series under the theme “Iridescent,” symbolizing the diversity and fluidity of gender. With approximately 1,000 participants, the event featured performances, short talks, and a friendly fair to promote understanding of gender diversity and foster a more inclusive campus culture.
