NCKU AISSM partnered with Micron Technology, Inc. to organize “SuperGirls in STEM” at the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute. In 2025, NCKU Science Education Center partnered with the TSMC Education and Culture Foundation to organize a one-day semiconductor course and university experience program for female students from National Tainan Chia-Chi Senior High School and Kaohsiung Municipal Kaohsiung Girls' Senior High School. Through laboratory visits, hands-on activities, and discussions with female scientists, students explored semiconductor applications and diverse academic and career pathways in science.- NCKU Professor Chuen-Chuen Jang Mentors Kaohsiung Municipal Kaohsiung Girls' Senior High School Students to Win Awards at the 2025 TISF
Professor Chuen-Chuen Jang of NCKU’s Department of Biotechnology and Bioindustry Sciences served as a research mentor for students from Kaohsiung Municipal Kaohsiung Girls' Senior High School. Their project, which developed a fruit fly model of epidermolysis bullosa simplex (EBS) and established a drug screening process using Diacerein, won Third Prize in Medicine and Health Sciences and a Special Award from the Society for In Vitro Biology. Notable examples include a student from the Department of Taiwanese Literature who successfully entered the financial industry, and an Economics graduate who secured a position at Dream Mall after graduation, demonstrating the program’s support in helping students pursue their desired career paths.- Campus Advisor System
