NCKU’s Access to University Underrepresented Groups Recruit

National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity by actively recruiting students, staff, and faculty from underrepresented groups. We have established a comprehensive Talent Pool System for People with Disabilities, which facilitates the recruitment of individuals with disabilities. This initiative demonstrates our dedication to inclusivity and equal opportunities within the university community.

In addition, NCKU has issued guidelines for the 112 Academic Year Undergraduate Program Special Selection, which includes provisions for recruiting students from underrepresented backgrounds, such as new residents, overseas students, and low-income households. These guidelines serve as a proactive measure to ensure equitable access to higher education.

Moreover, NCKU's commitment extends to the employment of individuals with disabilities. We have documented statistics on the number of employees with disabilities in each department and provide financial support to address any discrepancies in hiring through the Supporting the Hiring of Individuals with Disabilities program.
