The Student Union is a crucial link between students and the university, advocating for student rights and representing both undergraduate and graduate interests at NCKU. All students automatically become members, and the union can be organized by degree levels. Led by a president elected for a one-year term, members are chosen based on criteria such as representativeness and competence.
To operate effectively, the Student Union should have departments tailored to NCKU's specific needs. The Constitution must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Student Affairs before implementation, including any structural amendments, which also require approval from the Student Affairs Conference.
