NCKU's local start-up assistance

National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) established the “Innovation Headquarters”, which is for the transformation of its industry-academia collaboration business. Innovation Headquarters actively searches for opportunities to create a win-win for industries and the academic institutions; in the meantime, the “headquarters” is devoted to counsel student groups to develop new businesses. The “Innovation Headquarters” highly encourages students to participate in training courses which tutor them to transform the ideas into plans for initiating new businesses.  To match industry-academia collaboration between university and corporations, NCKU has established the "Gloria NCKU”, which assembles academic superiority from 12 universities and cooperates with industries in Taiwan or abroad. The “Gloria NCKU” enables academic techniques to be practiced in industries, and therefore creates a win-win.
