NCKU EMBA 躍榕盟 Organizes organized the event "Let's Spread Love - Tainan's Rural Elementary School Exploring NCKU"
President Jian-Hong Liao of the 躍榕盟 stated that "躍榕盟" is an academic club that cultivates members' independent critical thinking skills through case discussions, lectures, and corporate visits. This is the first time we have organized such an event. Rural children may lack not only material goods but also experiences, dreams, and social participation. By organizing this activity, we aim to provide rural elementary school children with a campus experience at NCKU and allow EMBA alumni to give back to society with a sense of gratitude.
Dean Yeu-Shiang Huang and CEO Hsuan-Chu Lin of the College of Management welcomed everyone to NCKU and expressed special thanks to the 躍榕盟 for organizing this charity event, showcasing the social entrepreneurship spirit of EMBA.
In the 106th academic year, NCKU introduced the innovative general education course "Exploring Tainan," which takes students out of the classroom to experience the local culture, history, and humanities of Tainan. In this event, led by guides Zhi-Chang Chen, Tian-Lu Chen, and Zhi-Qing Lin, students visited the NCKU Museum, the "Veritas et Conscientia" (窮理致知) memorial Arch, Small East Gate, and the Banyan Garden on campus. The activity also included a point-scoring game and gifts for the children to celebrate Children's Day in advance.
Three EMBA seniors were invited to share their experiences with the students. Ken Chuang, CEO of Rainmaking Innovation, who grew up in Singapore and served as a pilot, shared how embracing vulnerability is an act of courage. Hsin-Yun Lee, manager at Hanlin Publishing, encouraged students to expand their imagination through reading and find their own paths. Zheng-Yan Chen, Chairman and CEO of Jumbo Laser Plasma, inspired the children to bravely pursue their dreams and create value in life.
NCKU's EMBA program is a cradle for cultivating elite managers in southern Taiwan. After successful development in their respective fields, EMBA graduates implement the University Social Responsibility (USR) project. In December 2019, the Christmas Auction Gala raised funds to purchase 792 wheelchairs, which were donated to 12 counties and cities to give back to society. In November 2020, Ms. Shu-Fen Chang, Chairwoman of the TSMC Charity Foundation, was invited to speak on corporate social responsibility at an event.

躍榕盟 is an academic organization that focuses on developing independent thinking skills through case studies and organizing seminars and corporate visits.
In the academic year 106 at NCKU, the pioneering general education course "Exploring Tainan" will lead students out of the classroom to experience firsthand the local culture, history, development, and humanities of Tainan.
We led the students to visit the NCKU Museum, the "Veritas et Conscientia" (窮理致知) memorial arch, Little East Gate, and Banyan Garden this time, and invited three EMBA seniors to share their experiences.
EMBA students hold the mood of "I am content, I am grateful", and do what they can to give back to the society and spread the love.
