2023 Fucheng Land Administration Law Forum in NCKU : Two-way Exchange and Learning Between Scholars, Experts and Practitioners
The School of Social Sciences and the Department of Law of NCKU and the Tainan City Land Law Association jointly held the "2023 Fucheng Land Administration Law Forum" on April 8, 2023 to discuss the development trend of the real estate and land law system in Taiwan. Associate Professor Wan-Ju Yeh of the Department of Law, NCKU, and Assistant Professor Yu-Kuang Chang of the Department of Law, National University of Kaohsiung , gave keynote speeches. Dean Fu-Zen Shaw, College of Social Sciences, NCKU, expressed his expectation that the forum would promote academic dialogue among experts in real estate law and practice and enhance the research culture of real estate law in Southern Taiwan. Vice President Chin-Che Cheng of CTBC Business School and Tainan Bar Association Executive Supervisor Chi-Miao Chen attended the forum.
Associate Professor Wan-Ju Yeh's lecture entitled "Correction of Contractual Failure or Overcorrection - Review and Reflection on the Newly Amended Equalization of Land Rights Ordinance" examined the government's newly amended land rights policy from the viewpoint of contractual freedom and brought about discussions and reflections. The issue of parking spaces in real estate transactions is becoming more and more important. In his lecture on "Decree on Parking Spaces and Registration Practices", Assistant Professor Yu-Kuang Chang introduced the laws and regulations related to parking spaces and practical insights using real cases as a guide.
The seminar was successfully held at the International Conference Hall of NCKU's Kuang Fu Campus under the subsidy of NCKU's Higher Education Advancement Program and the Tainan Land Law Association. The forum was not only held to enhance the knowledge of NCKU students in the field of Land Law, but also to achieve two-way communication and mutual learning between practice and academia through discussions and exchanges with members of the Tainan Land Law Association.
