The Chong Hwa Lecture Hall, situated on the 4th floor of the "Genesis Building" in the Tzu-Chiang campus, opened in 2022. It functions as a smart learning and conference space, featuring AIoT and Edge Computing technologies, along with environmental control cameras. These capabilities facilitate data collection for AI training and enable real-time AI recognition and analysis via cloud computing, aiding in AI model development.
Acknowledging the bandwidth demand for cloud computing data uploads, many enterprises embrace "Edge Computing" to reduce transmission delays and bandwidth loads. The Chong Hwa Lecture Hall integrates Edge Computing devices and technologies, offering students practical exposure to industry-standard practices.
Mr. Bruce Cheng, an NCKU Electrical Engineering graduate from the Class of '48, founded Delta Electronics. Starting with TV coil manufacturing, Delta gained global recognition for its speed, quality, service, and competitive pricing. Besides corporate success, Mr. Cheng champions environmental protection, sponsoring eco-friendly activities and promoting sustainable energy.
Mr. Cheng, a successful businessman, has demonstrated his care for his alma mater by generously donating to NCKU over the years. His contributions include funding the construction of the "Magic School of Green Technologies," endowing the "K. T.
