To foster students' sense of identity with Taiwanese culture, the College of Liberal Arts at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), in collaboration with the College of Medicine and the Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, will host the "Glorious young brother, speaking Taiwanese is extravagant (tshia-iānn)" on May 1st at the Grand Auditorium of the Ge-Chi Grand Auditorium on the Cheng-Kung Campus. They have invited the champion of the TV show "Big Hip-Hop Era 2" and Taiwanese hip-hop artist Ah Kua Mian. Through his music, which integrates Taiwanese language and embodies positive energy and inspirational spirit, Ah Kua Mian aims to encourage young people and community members to take pride in and carry forward Taiwanese culture. Ah Kua Mian will be hosted by another local singer, GLOJ, who hails from Tainan as well.

The organizers stated that Ah Kua Mian's pursuit of his dreams showcases his charismatic determination. His story demonstrates that even with a humble background, one can achieve musical dreams through talent and hard work, inspiring young people to bravely pursue their dreams and providing them with positive role models for growth. Ah Kua Mian's music also sparks interest in learning Taiwanese culture and promotes its preservation and inheritance.

To encourage diverse creativity and deep interaction, the organizers have planned "Hey Young Kid, Any Questions? – Questionnaire" and "Lyrics Rewrite" activities before the event. Participants can submit questions for Ah Kua Mian to answer in advance and participate in a creative activity to rewrite two lines of lyrics from Ah Kua Mian's song "Insomnia" for a chance to win exquisite prizes. Students, faculty, and the public are warmly invited to participate.
