On March 21, 2026, the Muslim Students Association of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) hosted an Eid al-Fitr celebration, joining nearly 200 students, faculty, and staff from both on and off-campus to mark the successful conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan. From the solemn prayer ceremonies to the international food fair, the event provided emotional support and a sense of community for international students. It served as a prime example of NCKU’s core values of diversity and inclusion, as well as its commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding and harmonious coexistence.
The event received high-level attention and support from various organizations. NCKU Vice President for International Affairs, Sun-Yuan Hsieh, attended the ceremony to deliver remarks.
