From April 1st to 19th, retired professor Dylon Wu from the Department of Chinese Literature at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) is holding the "Dylon Wu New Poetry Calligraphy Exhibition" on the 1st floor of the NCKU Department of Chinese Literature. The opening ceremony of the exhibition took place on the first day in the exhibition corridor of the Department of Chinese Literature. Professor Dylon Wu stated that the core content of this new poetry calligraphy exhibition is related to the New Cultural Movement in Taiwan, and the work "Blood-Stained Phoenix Flower" aims to showcase the cultural miracle of Taiwan. In addition to new poetry, the exhibition also includes classical calligraphy by calligrapher Chen Chia-Hung and Western oil paintings by artist Queen Lin, hoping for collisions between different literary genres and the fusion of various artistic mediums.

Several professors and faculty members attended the opening ceremony. Vice President Yuh-Neu Chen expressed that through the poetry combined with calligraphy by Professor Wu and the brush of calligrapher Chen Chia-Hung, a story pulse about the era is narrated using different literary genres and media. This showcases the uniqueness and richness of the exhibition, as well as the resilience of various literary forms. Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Shin-Mei Kao, stated that through the power of words, Professor Dylon Wu writes about Taiwan itself, which also extends to the world. The exhibition works reflect the pulse of the times, and she appreciated the content he brought and the inspiration he gave to the viewers.

Professor Dylon Wu mentioned that the new poem "血染的鳳凰花" aims to showcase the cultural miracle of Taiwan. This work conveys the process of economic miracles and transitional justice after the White Terror through new poetry, calligraphy, and oil paintings. Despite the controversy over the truth of the 319 shooting incident involving the President and Vice President, the core value of democracy and the peaceful transition of power are still firmly advocated by the people. Apart from "血染的鳳凰花" there are also works such as "蝴蝶" which describes the encounter between love and fate and Buddhism, and "台灣 中國和烏克蘭" a modern Taiwan democratic process described in a two-hundred-line long poem.

Department of Chinese Literature Director Sheng-Sung Huang welcomed all NCKU faculty, staff, and students to appreciate the exhibition, using this space for narration, allowing Professor Dylon Wu's versatile and splendid works to meet the audience and create more possible echoes.
