USR Project "Accompany 2026"
“Active Aging Lifestyle”
Identifying positive lifestyles in a super-aged society and promoting healthy aging.
The project team combined various resources to engage with over ten communities and more than 900 elderly individuals to develop exercise habits. NCKU students collaborated with elderly exercise volunteers, where students provided assistance through their courses and research, while volunteers offered long-term companionship to the community. The team also extended its efforts beyond Taiwan, sharing the drum exercise with elderly people in Singapore and Australia.
The "Accompany 2026" project has been promoting "dynamic living" for the elderly for many years, aiming to integrate exercise, physical activity, and positive health thinking into the daily lives of the elderly. The project’s goal is to create a new lifestyle that guides the elderly toward healthy and positive aging as they embrace the next generation of life.
