2022 Career Fair in Southern Taiwan Attracted Nearly Ten Thousand People Due to its Diverse Employment Options
Offering the Most Diverse Employment Options — 2022 Career Fair in Southern Taiwan Attracted Nearly Ten Thousand People Flocked to NCKU
“2022 Career Fair”, the largest recruitment event in Southern Taiwan took place at NCKU this morning (March 13). There were 259 enterprises offering 2,3000 job opportunities, and they attracted nearly ten thousand job applicants. One of the students who participated in the event said that many enterprises offered abundant gifts and people were unable to finish walking around the venue in a day.
Fong-Chin Su, the vice president of NCKU said in his opening speech that the graduates of NCKU have long been highly favored by many enterprises and was near Nanke, the world-class semiconductor town. Therefore, NCKU will keep working with its partnerships to cultivate professional and interdisciplinary talents for the enterprises. At the same time, he believes that the career fair which were held by 11 universities can definitely bring diverse employment options to southern Taiwan, enabling each enterprise to find the most suitable talents.
After two years, the largest recruitment event in Southern Taiwan was held again in 2022. The classification of recruitment this year was diverse,and there were 351 stands in total which made the new record. The recruitment classification included semiconductor, optoelectronics, national defense, manufacturing, finance, electronic motors, computers, software, communications, etc. What’s more, there were also information desks offering consulting services.
With the view to the trend of “global talent”, 128 international enterprises offered job opportunities to foreign students. The classification of job opportunities for foreign students included semiconductors, transportation, transportation and warehousing, optoelectronics, retail and circulation of department stores, real estate, finance, construction, construction, software networks, electronic motors, telecommunications, manufacturing, medical care, etc.
The 2022 Career Fair in Southern Taiwan started from 10AM to 3PM. NCKU’s National Music Club was invited to give a performance at the opening ceremony, and many professors, government officials, and managers from different enterprises participated in this ceremony. The weather was great with the sun shining in the sky and the temperature was also comfortable, bringing passion and enthusiasm to Southern Taiwan.
