The 2024 NCKU Fall Campus Recruitment will be held on October 18 (Friday) and 19 (Saturday) at the International Conference Hall on the Guangfu Campus. A total of 27 companies, including ASE, Realtek, Novatek, Quanta, Delta, Micron, Wistron, Formosa Plastics, China Steel, ITRI, Mega Bank, UNIQLO, and more, will host recruitment briefings.
This year's participating companies are primarily from the semiconductor and optoelectronics industries (41%), followed by manufacturing (22%), and electronics/telecommunications/software and networking industries (15%). With the semiconductor market growth driven by emerging applications like AI, renewable energy, and smart connectivity, key roles such as firmware engineers and digital/analog IC engineers are in high demand.
According to the Ministry of Labor's manpower survey from July 1–19, 2024, businesses with over 30 employees are expected to increase their workforce by 56,000 by the end of October, with manufacturing experiencing the largest growth (21,000). The demand for talent is being driven by company expansions and diversification efforts, highlighting the ongoing challenges of innovation and sustainability in the workforce.
The recruitment event is organized by National Cheng Kung University and co-hosted by the NCKU Cultural and Educational Foundation. In addition to NCKU students, recent graduates and job seekers from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend. Registration is currently open.
